Mission
The “Circular Economy Vorarlberg” initiative makes a significant contribution to raising awareness for a sustainable and largely circular economy. By initiating innovative projects, R&D and qualification offerings as well as an international network expansion on the topic, a positive momentum for a green economy in Vorarlberg is created. The numerous and often voluntary efforts of local businesses are actively supported and brought to the forefront.
Funding opportunities for comapnies in the circular economy
As the central funding organization for research and development (R&D), the Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft (FFG) provides companies with various funding opportunities to implement climate and environmentally friendly innovations quickly and unbureaucratically. The current funding offers can be found bundled in the thematic focus Circular Economy | FFG. WISTO is a regional partner of the FFG and offers companies from Vorarlberg flexible, free advice on applying for funding as well as hands-on support in the actual preparation of funding applications and professional project support / project monitoring for the successful progress of project plans.
Other federal fundign agencies such as aws, Klimaenergiefonds (KLIEN), KPC, OeMAG and VKS have also launched interesting funding programs for sustainability and the circular economy as well as for green innovation and investment programs. For the biggest possible range and sustainable impact, the Circular Economy Network Vorarlberg is being set up in a broad alliance of the State of Vorarlberg, the Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce, the Vorarlberg Federation of Industry, the Green Campus of the AK Vorarlberg, Platform V and V-Research GmbH under the coordination of Wirtschafts-Standort Vorarlberg GmbH (WISTO) in order to bundle the activities under one roof.
